Hi, I’m Kerry Moore, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Fire Wife, Mom of two and the founder of

Untethered Counseling and Wellness PLLC.

I believe healing begins in a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly seen. Life experiences, especially traumatic or overwhelming ones, can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of ourselves. Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you; it’s about understanding your experiences, reconnecting with yourself, and creating space for meaningful change.

I am a trauma-focused therapist, and my work centers on helping clients gently explore the impact of both past and present experiences while building tools to feel more grounded, empowered, and in control. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach and honor your pace throughout the process. You are the expert on your life; my role is to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of your story in a way that feels safe and empowering. Therapy is an active process. While our sessions are an important part of the journey, real growth often happens between sessions as you begin applying insights and tools in your everyday life. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels welcoming, nonjudgmental, and supportive, one where you feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and showing up exactly as you are.

As a Christian-centered therapist, I also welcome faith as part of the therapeutic process for clients who desire it. Integrating faith into counseling looks different for each person and is always guided by your comfort level and preferences. Sessions may include exploring how your beliefs shape your values, relationships, identity, and understanding of life experiences. When appropriate and desired, therapy may incorporate prayer, Scripture, or faith-based reflection alongside evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Christian-centered counseling is never about pressure or judgment. For some, faith is a source of strength and grounding; for others, it may be connected to doubt, struggle, or past hurt. All of these experiences are welcome here and approached with compassion and respect. Whether faith is central to your life or something you are still exploring, therapy can be a place where spiritual, emotional, and psychological healing come together. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply sensing that something needs to change, you don’t have to walk through it alone. I would be honored to support you as you take the next step toward healing and wholeness.
